Career Clothing Drive

Ready to catch Spring fever?  Start by cleaning out your clothes closet and setting aside your surplus of suits and ties for the Professional Women in Building’s (PWB) Clothing Drive.
 Donations of professional office clothing will be collected by the PWB at the Home Builders Care Foundation’s (HBCF) May 13  Bull & Oyster Roast in Laytonsville.

 Your gently used “job interview ready” men’s and women’s business attire will be donated to Success in Style, whose mission is to assist women and men in crisis, in the Baltimore–Washington Corridor become employed and self-sufficient.

¨ Suit Separates
¨ Dress shirts
¨ Neck Ties
¨ Simple Dresses
¨ Purses
¨ Briefcases
¨ Belts, Scarves, Etc.
¨ Other items welcome

If  you are unable to attend the Roast  but still have clothes to donate, please drop
them off at the MBIA offices in Fulton before May 12 or contact  Patti Kane (pkane@

Our Roast of Roger Lebbin is going to be a must see. must hear event! 

“For the price of a ticket, the members can see a bunch of old fogies embarrass themselves!  It promises to be very entertaining.– Mr. Lebbin.

Roasters include:

There will be jokes, there will be a rebuttal.

Roger has written a song, which he will perform with Chuck Sullivan, a custom homebuilder and a well-known local drummer, and Home Builders Care’s own board member, Rich MacDonough on guitar.   

In the song, over 90 past and present members of the association will be prominently mentioned including some famous names who are no longer with us from Lawyers to Architects, Engineers, Builders and Developers. Check it out!
