Ulman Cancer Fund House Under Construction in Baltimore


The Ulman Cancer Fund for Young Adults  “UCF House” is a much-needed housing project in Baltimore just blocks from Johns Hopkins Hospital. 

UCF began construction on a “home away from home” a few months ago to provide free housing for young adult cancer patients, and their caregivers, in East Baltimore.

The UCF House will create a community that fosters peer and social support, decreases financial and other burdens, and encourages hope and healing.

The Maryland Building Industry AssociationHome Builders Care Foundation  and MBIA’s Future Industry Leaders (FIL) Council are working on together to provide housing and support for young adult cancer patients and their families!
