Help the Homeless – Dinner & Dedication at the Men’s Shelter on August 22

Please help the Home Builders Care Foundation, as a beneficiary of Fannie Mae’s Help the Homeless (HTH) Program, earn HTH matching funds by registering to attend our August 22 dedication of a new patio & picnic shelter at the Home Builders Care Assessment Center (HBCAC) Shelter in Rockville.  The new outdoor space at the HBCAC will be dedicated to the late Chip Merlin, who as an HBCF past-president, oversaw the shelter’s original construction in 2000.  The dedication event will feature a BBQ dinner for shelter residents, staff, and guests. Volunteers are needed to set up and serve dinner.
To join us, please register online at http://www.hthwalks.org/goto/dinnerdedication
We hope you will join us.  But whether or not you (or your family & friends) are able to attend, your HTH walker registration fee, allocated 100% to HBCF, will:
  1. help HBCF obtain the HTH match requirement of registering 250 walkers in 2013
  2. help us provide a hot meal for 100 homeless men receiving shelter and services at HBCAC, as well as,
  3. help HBCF build more safe shelter for others in need in our communities.
It’s a win-win-win!   For more info, please contact Patti Kane 301-445-5410 or pkane@mncbia.org.
