Help lift the spirit of Maryland families in need this holiday season by participating in one of Home Builders Care Foundation’s giving drives.
Did you know that in the Washington, D.C. metro area there are approximately 700,000 residents at risk of hunger? And that more than 500,000 individuals in Maryland have no consistent access to food? You can help.
This year’s Holiday Toy Drive will benefit the Community Ministries of Rockville. Click here to dowload our wish list!
Collected new and unwrapped toys will be distributed to needy children both in CMR programs and through the Holiday Giving Program in Montgomery County. CMR expects to serve about 400 children this holiday. Our deadline for delivery is December 10. Please help!
Please join MBIA’s Professional Women in Building Council (PWB) and the Home Builders Care Foundation for a special network gathering to prepare”Snack Packs” for the Homeless.
Come socialize with WINE and CHEESE as well as participate in a simple service project!
Each assembled Snack Pack will contain nutritional to-go snacks and help line information that can be distributed in lieu of money to people you may see on the street.
Packs will be then be made available for a small fee to members or free to volunteers. We encourage you to keep one or two in your car for when you see someone in need.
